Prom Review

It was a night promised to charm the hearts of the ladies and to be something that will be remembered for a lifetime, in reality it was a bit of food followed by romping around on a wooden deck. There were 4 main features of the prom; setting, atmosphere, food and dancing. Here are their reviews:

Setting
The hotel was obviously holding a conference at the same time as the prom as many businessmen were strolling around in suits. It was obviously inappropriate for 150 obnoxious teens to turn up and start wreaking havoc. Otherwise it was a very nice place for such an event.
Overall Mark: 5/10

Atmosphere
The initial atmosphere was one of mystery because everyone was standing outside, not wanting to be the first to go inside. Once inside, everyone had settled onto their tables where people were catching up with their friends about the events of the last 3 weeks. Then came the music, the carnage started and the barbarians came out to play.
Overall Mark: 6/10

Food
There were several complaints about the food, many people were whining that there wasn't a vegetarian option. Well, f**k off. Vegetarians shouldn't be so picky, you're lucky the government doesn't put you in the stocks (No pun intended). It was just food, it was alright I suppose. What people were expecting was beyond me.
Overall Mark: 7/10

Dancing
The dancing was completely civilised, Ladies and their partners were modestly far apart and there was minimal noise, just the hum of chatter. No way. People were throwing themselves in the middle of a circle and then proceeded to spaz out. It would have helped if the DJ had more than a BTEC level 3 in PE but that is a tall order. It was funny to watch though.
Overall Mark: 7/10

All in all, it was alright. Nothing went horribly wrong but there was nothing amazing to rave about. Averaging the scores gives the prom an overall score of 6.5/10. The night didn't stop there, people went on to the afterparty...

There two words to describe the afterparty; rowdy and illicit.
Overall Mark: 11/10
